Scanning Service
At CMW toys, I am now offering a scanning service via request.
As my customers know, my 3D printed reproductions are of the highest quality and this same scanner is used for this service. This scanner is designed for smaller items, which allows it to produce the finest quality scans possible on the market.
You would be required to ship the item to our mothership. This item will then be returned to you, once you confirm you are happy with the STL we provide.
The amazing benefit of scanning is that you can increase or decrease the size for a print. Got a figure head you want smaller or bigger? Both are possible! Action figure weapons or accessories? Also both possible! Turn a 6 inch figure head into a 12 inch, or the other way around!
Pricing starts at £30 per scan (Bulk scan deals available). This provides you with an STL file. There are other options available which include finished prints, and we can also paint scans at an additional cost should you desire.
As you will see from our "Artist Spotlight" series we offer, there are collaboration opportunities available. This is a great solution for hand sculpted works you would like recreated digitally and as many times as you like! No need to constantly resculpt.
